I love this rub on smoked pork ribs and beef brisket! It’s very simple and the flavors highlight the real tasty part which is “the meat”.
Central Texas Style Dry Rub
- 1 c coarse ground black pepper
- ½ c Kosher salt or sea salt
- 4 tbsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp Frank's Red Hot powder (for some heat)
- Mix all ingredients well. Store in an air tight container in a cool, dry place.
