Earlier in the year, Amy and I talked about her taking some time off by herself in Monterey. She reluctantly agreed and booked the trip. What a difference a couple of days makes! She was able to relax and focus on herself rather than us and the tea room. Given that she spends about 14 hours a day on tea room business and the remainder of the time with us at home, she never gets time to herself. Amy is encouraging me to do the same thing, but I don’t think it will be as beneficial to me as it was to her. I’m glad that the boys and I are able to help her by having her take some time for herself. We’re happy she’s back in more normal form!
